Mission Statement of Secular Sri Lanka

පන්සල, පල්ලිය, කෝවිල සහ ජනරජය අතර අනවශ්ය බැඳියාව සහ බලපෑම වෙන්කරන ලද  ආගමිකකරණයට යටපත් නොවූ,  ආණ්ඩුක්‍රම ව්‍යවස්ථාවක් සමඟ බැඳුනු යහ-පාලනයක් (good governance) ගොඩනගමු.

Secular Sri Lanka is a non-profit, non-partisan, educational association with the purposes/goals:

  1. To promote total and absolute separation of Temple (viharaya, kovil, church and mosque) and state of Sri Lanka through an amendment to the current Constitution.
  2. To educate and inform the public about secularism and the required democratic process to achieve this goal.
  3. To provide a forum for examination and discussion about secularism and the amendment to the Constitution for secularization of Sri Lanka.
  4. To develop and engage in educational, cultural, charitable, and social activities that are beneficial to the members of Secular Sri Lanka , the secularist community of Sri Lanka, and the Sri Lankan community at large.
